As a Georgia native, Dr. Almasi joined Northside Spine and Pain Specialists in 2021. He emphasizes the importance of compassionate care, spending time with his patients and developing individualized plans to restore function, relieve pain, and improve quality of life. His core values include personalized medicine, clear communication, and equipping patients with knowledge to understand pain conditions.
His clinical practice focuses on the interventional treatment of headache, neck pain and low back pain – among many other conditions. Dr. Almasi earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Almasi completed his formal medical education with a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Almasi is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology. He speaks English and Farsi (Persian).
