
Dean Sider
MDDr. Sider received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine after graduating with a B.S. in Biochemistry from Tulane University. He completed his internship and one extra year of surgical residency before finishing his anesthesiology residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to complete fellowships in Obstetrical Anesthesia and Pain Management at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He is Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
Dr. Sider has been on staff at Orlando Health since 1990. He currently practices at South Seminole Hospital, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies, Orlando Orthopedic Outpatient Surgery Center and Florida Surgery Center. He serves as Director of Anesthesia Services at South Seminole Hospital and is the hospital’s Chief Medical Director.
Dr. Sider is a native Floridian. He is married and has two adult children. He spends a great deal of his free time with his family traveling. He enjoys reading, sports and spending time with his family.
Dr. Sider is very proud of the service A.G.O. offers, stating that “our job is to give our very best to every patient and to provide top quality service to the hospital and our surgeons.”
Dr. Sider is currently serving as Vice Chief of Staff from July 2017-June 2019, Chief of Staff from July 2019-June 2021 and Post Chief of Staff from July 2021-June 2023.
